Covid-19 has been a modern curse on humanity. Not only has it taken lives, hampered economic activities, but it has also sown distrust of science among some of the members of society. People have also been reluctant to maintain social distance.
We have lived with Covid-19 for almost two years. And people
have grown tired of it. People are now unwilling to maintain basic lockdown rules. In some
countries, the situation is so bad that protests are happening.
It would be one thing if people had an issue with the lockdown.
But they also have an issue with the Covid-19 vaccine. The number of vaccine
deniers grows day by day. And surprisingly, they are in prominent positions in
our society. Even some nurses and doctors have bought into the conspiracy.

No other disease’s vaccine has been produced as first as the
Covid-19 vaccine. But that was to happen as it is the worst pandemic in the
modern era. But this has caused quite a stir. Some people don’t believe a
working vaccine could be produced this soon with no side effects. People are
even going as far as taking horse
dewormers as an alternative to the Covid-19 vaccine.
In this situation, it is imperative that we continue to let
people know the value of lockdown and vaccine despite the pushback. Conspiracy
theories must be debunked over and over again. And we have to make it clear
that lockdowns will reduce the rate of future lockdowns. Not to mention
lockdown saves human lives.
